Larry Doll begins to incubate the Silver Appleyard eggs |
We are raising Silver Appleyard & White Pekin ducks for the 2008 season. Our 2008 price for Duck is $3.00/lb. They come cleaned and packaged whole by a licensed processor, wrapped in a strong plastic bag, suitable for freezing. For those of you that pre-ordered a duck, we expect them to be ready for pickup in the evening of July 10, 2008.

The Silver Appleyard is a heritage bird, listed as critical by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy. (See description of Heritage Breeds on our turkey webpage.)
