See where our hens spend their winter months, in company with our rabbits. Updated 10/29/08 We're excited! We begun breeding our Tamworth pigs. See our first litter and plans for future. Updated 10/11/08 The Chelsea Farmers' Market ended Oct 25th. But we don't want you to go through fresh egg withdrawal! So we will be setting up times for farm pickup. See Back Forty Acres referenced on the "program" page. Updated 09/01/08 Another year at the Chelsea Community Fair! As volunteers and participants, the people of Back Forty Acres are involved. WOW! Look at the awards for Grand Champion Turkey, Chicken & Rabbit! One last thing: We are sold out of many of our 2008 products. But don't let that stop you from ordering! We'll put you on the reservation list for possible cancellations and/or for 2009 product. |
** Alerts ** We are sold out of Thanksgiving Turkeys! Thanks to all that made it a successful season! We plan to increase the flock next year. We have added new pasture pens to the "fleet" for a total of 10 and we are considering a turkey enclosure. Still need something special for Thanksgiving? "Thanksgiving Rabbit" may not be traditional, but it sure is tasty! We have some available - give us a call (or email). |
